INCREASING BATTLE REWARDS

MAKE YOUR GRIND FASTER

Many new players are struggling to get exp and golds to promote their ship faster. However, there are many tricks to boost exp and gold that can make your grinding so much faster. Getting a top tier ship from the bottom in just 1 month is possible. Your crews benefit from this boost too. After reading this article, low income shouldn’t be a problem for you.

DECORATIONS

Ship Decoration (Ornament)

Ship decoration is a small ornament that can be equipped on the hull of your ship. There are several tiers of ship decoration indicated by colors:

  • White ornament: the lowest tier. Only gives 2% gold and 2% exp boost. Five white-colored ornaments of the same type can be fused into one blue ornament.
  • Blue ornament: gives 3% gold and 5% exp boost. Three blue-colored ornaments of the same type can be fused into one gold ornament.
  • Gold color: gives 5% gold and 10% exp boost. Two gold-colored ornaments of the same type can be fused into a naval creed badge.
  • Naval creed badge: the highest tier ornament that players can grind. Gives 7% gold and 12% exp boost. Cannot be fused even further.
  • Iridescent ornament: rare and exclusive ornament that can only be obtained from loot boxes. Gives 10% gold and 15% exp boost.
  • Other ornaments (event rewards and shop items): each ornament has different gold and exp boost.

Most ornaments also have PVE-only bonuses. Those bonuses increase your ship’s stats (like speed, reload, damage, etc) but are only active in PVE.

Ship decoration is obtainable from loot box, event, and shop. Select ship decoration by clicking “Decorations” button in the harbor. In the “Ship decoration” tab, you can view and choose the ornament that you want. One ornament can only be used for one ship so choose wisely. You need to spend 10-20 gems if you want to remove an ornament from a ship.

If you have spare gold, it’s better to fuse ornaments and use the higher tier ornament for your ship. If fusion is available, there will be a “fusion” button in the ornament that you choose.

Ornament fusion

Decorational flag (Ship Flag)

Decorational flag (or more commonly known as ship flag) is a flag that your ship can equip. Each ship can only equip one flag. Decorational flag is obtainable from events and shop (time-limited). Each flag has different bonuses. Select decorational flag by clicking “Decorations” button in the harbor. In the “decorational flag” tab, choose the flag that has the highest profit bonus. Repeat this process for every ship that you have. One flag can be equipped to all ships.

Harbor Decoration

Harbor decoration is a decoration that can be placed in your harbor instead of your ship. There are many kinds of harbor decoration, each with their own bonuses. Some of them can be fused as well. Unlike ship decoration and ship flag, you can place as many harbor decoration as possible. So if you have a lot of harbor decorations, just equip all of them. Harbor decoration is obtainable from loot box, events, and shop.

Channel Flag

Channel flag is a flag that’s shown beside your name in global chatroom. Most channel flags are obtainable with prism, but some are obtainable with other currencies. Channel flag only gives a small boost. Some of them don’t give any boost at all. Select channel flag by clicking the “Channel flag” button in the harbor. Pick a flag that you like. Word of advice: spending prism to buy channel flag is not worth it. Just pick a flag doesn’t cost prism.

SHIP CHOICE

Ship Camouflage (Sister Ship)

In Naval Creed, camouflage is called sister ship. All camos come with exp and gold boost (usually 10% more than the basic ship gain). Most camos are obtainable with painting coupons, so they’re free. Yamato’s camo has a very high boost, but you need to spend 36000 painting coupons to get it. Some camos are obtainable with gem, rank point, and prism (can be found in the shop). Such expensive camos are not worth to buy unless you have excessive resources. Some events also give camos. If you encounter such events, make sure to get the rewards.

To buy and equip a camouflage, simply click “Sister ship” button on the bottom of the ship description. You can preview the camouflage first before buying.

Use premium ships

Premium ships are any ship that are not tech tree ships. Obtainable with free exp, gem, rank point, prism, or star coin. Each premium ship has different profit bonus. Usually they give 30-50% boost. Ships that are obtainable with prism and star coin also gives more free exp. Premium ship is the best way to get as much profit as possible. However, getting a premium ship takes some time (or money) so it’s not always an option for new players. You also have to remember that premium ships don’t guarantee win at all. In fact, many premium ships are average or bad. For more information on ship abilities, check out cruiser reviews and battleship reviews.

BATTLE

Pick the most profitable battle mode

In Naval Creed, there are a lot of battle modes. Below is the list from the most profitable to the least profitable.

  1. PVP is the best place to play and grind ships. It has the highest bonus. Most of the time you’re playing 2 vs 2 or 3 vs 3, so even if your team is bad there’s a chance to carry them to victory.
  2. High-profit PVE. Unlike regular PVE, high-profit PVE can only be played 3-4 times per day. It also counts as PVP in the battle statistics. Technically, the bonus is lower than PVP, but because it’s very easy to get high score there you can get a large amount of profit.
  3. Global Arena is the ranked battle mode in Naval Creed. It has minimum requirements to join. Global Arena has high bonus, but this mode is not recommended for new players. You should have at least 2 ships from each MMweight and already played at least 500 battles before you enter Global Arena. If you’re too inexperienced, you’ll get sunk very quickly and nobody will benefit from it.
  4. Regular PVE, world missions, and special stage (event). Those three modes are counted as PVE in the battle statistics, therefore the bonus is small.

Try to win and score higher in the team

I know, this is easier said than done. But winning comes with more profit (up to 50% more), even though your score is the same as the enemy. If your score is high you get more profit too. Don’t be afraid when facing higher tier ship. If you do well against higher tier ship, your profit gets much higher.

This game really rewards your effort. So try to play well and help your team to win. If you want to learn more on how to maximize the potential of your ship, check out cruiser reviews and battleship reviews.

Don’t Use MMweight 10.0 Battleship for Grinding

These ships are top tier. They’re not meant for grinding. They have very high sortie cost, so after each battle your profit is small. If you play badly, you might even lose golds instead. MMweight 8.0-9.6 is the best range to farm golds. If you still want to play using MMweight 10.0 battleship, make sure you play it well.

Some players sell their ship so they can get gold to buy another ship. This is a very bad decision. Selling ship will only give you 10% of the original price and you lose a ship that you might need later. For that amount of gold, it’s better to just play for another week.
